hey guys. i love being recommended songs for things. If you feel like there is a song you really like and could fit well for the show, TELL ME!
Most preferrably, upload it to www.box.net or www.mediafire.com and send me the link so i can download it and listen to it myself.
I love suggestions of ALL kinds. I love music. And while Supernatural dealt with the more 'classic rock' genre, Buffy leaned toward the songs that weren't in the Top 40 Countdown but could have been if given the chance.
I am goind with music of any kind. The one genre that really depends on the specific song, is Screaming Metal. Now, i love metal. I have the moods for it, everyone knows. BUT metal can be difficult if the listener is not a big fan of it. If a scene calls for it, I would put it in but put a warning to lower the volume before you turn it on because some songs just start off with the screaming.
Be aware that when you recommend to me something, it's not 100 percent likely I will put it in an episode just because you asked. First and foremost, the scene comes first and I am here to bring music that will fullfill that mood even more. I also pay attention to the words/beat of the song and compare it to the rhythm of the scene while reading it.
For example, if the beginning of the scene is rather mellow, but at some point starts to get into a big fight, i look for a song that has those changes of pace.
Again, I still encourage all of you to share your music taste with me and let me know what's out there. My taste is really eclectic so i have a lot (almost 7,000 songs) but i could always do with more.
